Open Question: How much to save for moving far away?

Hello! My fiance and I have been talking for awhile about moving to Salt Lake City, Utah. We've been trying to figure out where to live and it sounds perfect for us :) We are from Ohio, and want to drive there, not fly, when we move. His old band had a moving trailer for equipment, so we can use that for free. We already have all of our necessities. Bed, kitchen stuff, etc. We don't have any kids. Just a turtle lol We plan to find possible apartments online, talk to the landlords on the phone, then immediately look at them upon getting there.
