Open Question: uncharacteristic discharge can i reenlist?

I live in salt lake city Utah, I joined the coast guard in 2007 the day i left for boot camp a friend of mine was murdered at the trolley square shooting. I didn't mention this to anyone in basic and really dealt with the emotional consequences. which were anxiety and depression when all was said and done i was discharged with an uncharacterized discharge. I have since dealt with my issues and would love to serve and protect my country i can get a letter of recommendation from a doctor. please don't post unless you have useful information or have personal experience...
